This is the second time I purchased collagen but unlike the first brand, this one has no aftertaste. I add it to my coffee and it's undetectable. Highly recommended. As far as benefits, the jury is still out. Might be too soon.

I use this collagen in my morning coffee every day to help with hair, skin, and nails AND to get extra protein into my day. As someone with PCOS who's always needing more protein, it's been so convenient to add this to my daily routine. There's no flavor at all, and if you do one scoop, let it dissolve, and then add your second scoop, you don't have to stir much at all. Just add your cream, milk, etc. and go!

I am a 32 year old woman who has never been able to grow out her nails. My nails have always been weak and the little growth I’d have, they’d break so easily. Since starting this product, my nails are so beautifully long and strong! I wish I started sooner! It’s been around 5 weeks and not one nail has broken!!! I add it to my coffee every morning and don’t taste it at all! I recommend adding the powder after you brew your coffee because it melts right in, very easily. My nails are the first sign that this product is working so I cannot wait to notice other positive differences.

I love this collagen power. I mix a scoop with my morning coffee and it doesn’t change the flavor..I also add a little cinnamon…it has great benefits. Remember to take vit e with it so it really does what it’s supposed to do. I started taking this due to healing from surgery and my hair and nails look amazing!! Also take for 2 weeks and then a week off, then resume another 2 weeks. It works!!

Update 2/19/22: This stuff is fabulous. I tried Anthony’s collagen powder because it was cheaper than this brand and was disappointed. Maybe it was just the batch, but it had a “beefy” smell and slightly affected the taste of my coffee, which is how I choose to consume my collagen. The Orgain Collagen has always been consistent in quality when purchased from Target or Amazon and has always dissolved well, has little no no “beefy smell” and makes the coffee creamier without changing the flavor (I use half & half and sugar in my coffee + collagen). I recently purchased Great Lakes Collagen and will try that once my Anthony’s runs out and hopefully update again. My only issue with Orgain is they recently changed the packaging. My first few containers said to use 2 scoops, and my most recent container said to use 1 scoop (the size of the scoop didn’t change), so on the nutrition label the amount of servings per container were doubled but the total volume remained the same and nutritional information adjusted accordingly. I only ever used 3/4-1 scoop per large cup of coffee anyway and had wonderful results. But I want to know why it changed. Did new product testing reveal better nutrition, so less is required for the same results? New scientific discoveries showing that less is better?I’ll have to do some digging.I have consumed 2 containers of this collagen and I’m working on my third. I mix 3/4 to 1 scoop in a cup of coffee in the morning plus a bit of creamer. I always have one cup of coffee but sometimes I’ll have two (so I don’t always have the complete recommended serving daily). I was worried that it would give the coffee a gross taste. The collagen DOES change the texture of the coffee, but not the flavor in my opinion. The collagen lends the coffee a creamier texture, and I’ve found that I actually PREFER my coffee with collagen now. This being said, it may be difficult to say the same if you take your coffee black since the creamer could be helping to blend th.

I bought this primarily due to the comments that it helped with joint pain. Two weeks ago my energetic dog cut in front of me while we were jogging and I fell over him and hyper-extended my left knee, which shows little swelling but continues to hurt like heck, even when taking aspirin for pain. I looked at a lot of popular brands of collagen powder and could see that an odd taste or clumping was often cited as a problem. I can tell you it's not a problem with this brand. I got it yesterday and first mixed in a scoop with my dinner mashed potatoes. While it made them somewhat more liquidy there was no change in the taste at all. This morning I added a scoop to my coffee (black, no sugar). It started dissolving as I was adding it. A couple of stirs and it was completely dissolved. Again, no odd taste noted at all.Whether it helps with my knee remains to be seen, however. Also whether my nails or hair grows faster, as others have reported. I will continue with one scoop twice a day and will update this with an extra star if I notice any improvement.UPDATE: After just over a week my hyper-extended knee is nearly pain free. Taking 2 scoops per day, largely with coffee or tea, I noticed improvement after just one day and it steadily got better after that. I would add that I continued taking aspirin for pain as needed for the first 5 days then stopped. Would my knee have improved on its own? Maybe. But it had not shown improvement in the two weeks prior and aspirin alone had shown little effect in relieving the pain. So, I am very happy with the result. I am not taking any aspirin now. I will continue taking the collagen, but will probably reduce it to one scoop after 30 days when I'm sure my knee has completely returned to normal. If I notice faster growth in my hair or nails, or any other change I will report that later.

Solid collagen powder. It has a bit more of a taste than some others I've tried. For that reason I use it only with smoothies not in my morning tea which is why I bought it. For smoothies it's perfect and I cannot taste it at all. The quality of the collagen itself was good I noticed my skin looked nice and my after workout soreness was reduced vs when I didn't have any. Compared to other collagen it just has more of a taste.

Love this collagen! It says unflavored but it does have like a hint of flavor. I mix it with my morning coffee and it is fine. I was taking it to help heal my wound on the bottom of my foot. It is good for seniors so I will continue to use it. Amazon price is the same as Walmart but Amazon has free delivery for prime members.
