I have extremely bad dry eye. I had been taking HydroEye and I couldn’t tell much of a difference (maybe it wasn’t long enough yet) and I asked ChatGPT for help because the dry eye was miserable and painful. Great price for a much needed product

First off, I don't suffer from macular degeneration. It does run in my family, however, and I have had an instance of an eye bleed due to a thin retina, so I started taking these in response to my mom, who does have macular degeneration (moms are always looking out for their kids, even if the kids are in their 60s).I've had interesting discussions about my use of Preservision with doctors at my optometrist office. One doctor argued I was just wasting my money since the studies have only shown these gels effective with patients who actively have macular degeneration, and not as a prophylactic/preventative. Another optometrist at the same practice told me he takes them, too, and like me, as a preventative rather than as a therapy for active macular degeneration.Because of all this, it's near impossible to evaluate whether these gels are doing me any good or not. Time will tell.

My ophthalmologist recommended these for my early signs of macular degeneration. OTC. Seems to stop the progression some. It supplies high dosages of the vitamins etc. needed for eye health more so than loading up on multi or individual vitamins. Lots on You Tube about the elements needed for eye health. I have been taking these vitamins for 2 years now. My eye doctor suggested taking these to help with my floaters and they seem to be better since I began taking these vitamins. They are fairly small and very easy to swallow.
