I have not been diagnosed as a diabetic but I have been monitoring my blood and it has been higher than normal. It was reading 130-139 in the a.m. I have many family members that are diabetic so i starting worrying about my numbers. I did some research and read that berberine and cinnamon (ceylon) could help. I started taking 1 pill before each meal and was totally amazed. In 1-2 day my blood readings had normalized. I couldn't believe it was 98-99 in the a.m. I am on my second bottle and when I am consistent it works amazingly. I will continue to purchase this until it stops working for me.

Taken with G1 I am loosing weight and watch my diet. A little on the big size but easy to swallow. I will stay with these supplements since they seem to work.

It works, I bought this product thinking another pill to flush down toilet, believe me I started taking a week ago lost 3lb first week on my second week, so happy but I did start to eat more protein and less carbs, I'm very happy I bought his product, thats a first for me how well its working.

Me decidí por este porque trae la canela de Ceilán metida en el mismo combo, así que no tengo que estar comprando dos suplementos aparte, lo cual me ahorra espacio y dinero.Las cápsulas tienen un tamaño normal, se pasan fácil con agua y, por lo menos a mí, no me han dejado ningún tipo de mal sabor ni me han dado acidez, que era mi miedo principal. El pote trae buena cantidad para el precio, así que rinde bastante. I have been taking one pill 15-30 minutes before lunch and dinner (I rarely eat breakfast, not a new habit, and if I do, I do NOT take a pill). I have had no side effects that have been noticeable. I have been tracking my weight most days and it looks like it took about 2 weeks to really 'kick in' where the scale is clearly, consistently going down (most days- an occassional bulky dinner will push it back up here or there). I am quite pleased with the results and have lost tangible weight, even taking the month off of intentional exercise (usually 4-5 times a week) due to injury. My activity level and cardio time is way down for now yet I am still losing weight.I am definitely eating less without much effort. I'll have a healthy snack in the afternoon most days but the niggle in my brain to snack, snack, SNACK even when I don't need one is just...gone. I will enjoy some pizza or ribs or a couple homemade cookies on the weekend so it's not as if I've severely restricted the amount or types of food I'll eat. I eat carbs, even rice and potatoes (not much bread though)! So I'm not over here eating a salad at every meal or working out like a fiend (or at all right now) yet the scale is moving in the right direction, noticeably. This is after struggling FOREVER to take off stubborn extra weight I gained during a health issue. First, I want to say I’m a healthy late 40s with textbook blood sugar, HDL, & triglycerides (LDL leaves something to be desired, but could’ve been the steak I ate the night before). I don’t take any medications for any issues. I haven’t had a blood draw since I’ve started taking this product, so I have no idea if it’s helped my LDL. This review is based on personal experience. That said…I started taking this in June. I lost 2 lbs a week for 6 weeks until I went on vacation & stopped taking it. I did experience some GI issues (hence the reason I stopped—no need to be running to RR after every meal, especially on a 15 hr flight). I started taking it again when we got home; the weight loss has slowed/stopped but then, if I’m honest, I’m also not watching what I eat as much.Now to the interesting part: while I experienced an infrequent cycle prior to starting berberine, the berberine (perhaps???) caused my cycle to start again, and it was quite heavy for 3 weeks straight. It stopped for a week, and then started back up for 2 weeks, then stopped for 2 weeks, then started again. It is a normal cycle now. BUT what I didn’t realize until about a month taking it was that I didn’t have night sweats, hot flashes, irritability, fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, and many of the other symptoms of perimenopause! It hasn’t stopped them completely, but it has curtailed them by 90%. If for no other reason, this product is a WIN for me. The weight loss benefit isn’t as strong (likely my fault), but I’m just happy to feel like myself again.Take with caution, but for ladies who want to face plant in the nearest snow pile five times a day, this may be a great product to ease those symptoms.

I've been taking another brand of Berberine, 1500-2000mg for a few days. I just started taking this brand 3 days ago, which is when I started to notice results. I usually never ever write reviews ever, but this has pretty much changed my life. I've had insulin resistance since I was young, and have always struggled with emotional binge eating where I have no control around food. It has taken over my life and I felt so trapped, then decided to try this product. Within 3 days, the food noise is gone. I even felt scared at first and self-sabotaged by binging, but that binge was different where I knew that this was it, I've found the cure that silences food noise for good. I take them before meals, today is Day 4 and I don't wake up being nervous about what I'm going to eat today, if it's going to be worth the calories and taste, terrified if I'd have the willpower to not start a binge at 9AM when no one's home, or do a 6k binge at 8PM then go to sleep, guilty and stuffed, then do it all over again a few times a week. My binges usually get really bad during the weekend, but I have full faith that I have it under control, this supplement has changed my life and it's only been Day 4! However, I know you shouldn't take this long-term, with 3-4 month periods where you should stop for a few weeks to let your gut reset, then get on it again. I truly cannot express how thankful I am that I found this supplement, and for someone who does not write reviews (this will be the first and last one), I really am pouring my heart out on this one. I understand how hard it is to struggle with binge eating, food taking over your entire life, not being able to think about anything but food, and food having a higher power over your life. I want to bake the biggest batch of cookies for this supplement's recipe founder, and somehow if he/she is reading this, you're the bomb. I don't know if Amazon lets customers update their reviews, but if I remember I'd absolutely come back and let you guy.
